E-book Library:

This dissertation is devoted to the clarification of phonetic and phonological mechanisms of vowel reduction and deletion in Italic, both synchronically and diachronically. The majority of the previous studies have focused only on cataloguing the forms before and after vowel reduction and deletion. As a result, we do not really understand the more detailed processes of these sound changes, linking inputs and outputs.
